Kelp: Every cell in our body needs iodine and kelp is a great source of natural soluble iodine that is effortlessly absorbed into our bodies.
Iodine from Mystery Bay Kelp aids in supporting digestion, gut health and healthy thyroid gland function. A healthy thyroid gland produces the right amount of thyroid hormones which controls energy production and metabolism throughout your body – boosting your energy levels through the course of the day. Iodine is critical and essential in this process.
Kelp is also high in antioxidants (including flavonoids and carotenoids), that can aid fighting against disease-causing free radicals.
Our kelp is grown and harvested in the pristine waters of Mystery Bay, NSW Australia.
The blend of hemp and nutritional yeast provides an important range of health benefits.
Hemp: Hemp is outstandingly rich in two essential fatty acids:
- alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3) and
- linoleic acid (omega-6).
Omega-6 fats are essentials fats which deliver energy for the body, and omega-3 fats are a critical part of human cell membranes. Omega-3 fats are also significant in playing roles to improve heart & liver health, weight management, support infant brain development, reduce inflammation and support mental health.
Hemp is also recognised to support healthy skin, aid to reduce the risk of heart disease, help in digestive discomfort and assist reduce the symptoms of PMS and menopause.
Nutritional Yeast: Nutritional yeast is high in vitamins B6 and B12, and the B vitamins play a role in cellular energy production. Vitamin B12 helps support normal blood production while vitamin B6 help supports a healthy functioning of the nervous system. It may also aid to alleviate symptoms of PMS.
Nutritional yeast is also recognised to support cholesterol levels, the immune system and contain antioxidants which decrease free radicals formed in the body.
