
Cooking with Manuka Honey – Salmon & Honey Glaze Recipe
For those who love Manuka honey & Salmon, what better way to combine these two beautiful ingredients. Especially with the warmer weather around the corner, this will be a favourite dish in no time.

Salmon is classified as an oily fish, and considered to be healthy, as it is high in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamin D content.
With the benefits of Manuka honey, what a perfect marriage of ingredients!

Ingredients
- 4 medium size fillets
- 3 tablespoons manuka honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or Worcestershire sauce)
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger* (or 1 teaspoon ginger paste)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
Alternatives
- Add splash of vodka if using Worcestershire sauce
- *For those non-ginger fans, you can choose not to include it. It will be just as tasty. You may like to add Chilli pepper for some extra kick

Instructions

- Preheat the oven to 180°C
- In a bowl, place manuka honey, olive oil, soy sauce, ginger, and pepper, and whisk together
- Pour glaze over fish and bake until ready, about 15-20 minutes (depending on oven)
